The Story

Sisters Christine White and Anne Todd were raised in an environment of unbridled creativity. Their mother, Cyndi is an immensely talented interior designer who always challenged the girls to use their imaginations with bins full of sequins, rhinestones, feather boas, and beads. Her influence gave the girls not only impeccable taste, but also the business experience and confidence to do what they love.
When Christine and Anne were teenagers, they decided to try their hand at business. Commandeering a portion of their mother's design studio, the sisters learned the joys and responsibilities of having their very own bead shop. A loyal clientele, some flattering press, and a pinch of hard work helped grow their small bead shop very quickly. In spring of 2005, Christine and Anne found their dream location in an old building in Myers Park and have been creating beautiful baubles ever since! Christine and her precious husband, David White, now own the bead shop. Naturally, their first business move was to hire Anne full time. “We often look at each other and wonder how this wonderful hobby turned into the career of our dreams”, the sisters exclaim.
